That's what I did, run a normal scheduled scan. Are you asking me to run an additional normal scan, but manually rather than from the scheduler?

Yes, run a scan manually to make sure it will still maintain Scan Schedule Day.I did a manual scan in normal mode and it changed from 12/2/2009 9:19 PM to 11/9/2009 9:19 PM.I tried this and it maintain Scan Schedule Day this time.When into Advanced Options / Scan Schedule an untick scan for virus and click OK.Send to tray.Reopen and tick to scan for virus.Reset scan day and it ran the scan as Schedule.Ran a manual Normal scan and it maintain the Schedule Day.

This morning (11/04/2009), I went into the A-V/A-S Main window and without changing any other settings, I clicked on the 'Scan Now' button. That was at 7:14AM. When it finished, the 'Next Scan' date had not changed. It still said 12/03/2009 12:30PM, which is one month from yesterday, the date of the last scheduled scan.

So in this test, running a manual scan did not change the date of the next scheduled scan.

garywa, last night it was maintaining Scan Schedule.Also my Data file was 4976. Had not updated because current issue updating.I booted my puter.When to grab a cup of Joe and notice ZA icon on system tray doing an update.Check Data
file and it had change.I check Log Viewer and confirm Auto Update at 2009-11-04 07:48:24-6:00 under Entry Detail.

I checked Next Scan: 11/10/2009 6:04 PM.So when it updates it changes Scan Schedule day.This must be the issue causing
the change.

I guess we will have to wait for next bug fix.Since I always do manual will just turn Scan Schedule off.

Well, now I'm confused.

At 7:00AM EST this morning, I got a successful DAT file update. So, I figured ZA must have fixed their update server problem from yesterday.

At 7:14AM EST this morning, I started a scan manually at your request from an earlier post.

The manual scan completed and I checked the 'Next Scan' field and found it had not changed after both a DAT file update and the manual scan. It still said 12/03/2009 12:30PM.

Its now successfully completed a second DAT file update at 10:31AM EST, but the 'Next Scan' field now says 11/05/2009 12:30PM.

What in the world does an update to the DAT file have to do with the next scheduled scan?!? That makes absolutely no sense. Why would a successful DAT file update change the next scheduled scan date?

Boy, somebody at ZA really made a dumb coding error when they wrote this version. Good grief!!!

Chat told me to 'Reset' ZASS and check to see if the problem is still there. I won't have time to do this until later this afternoon, hopefully.
