  • ZoneAlarm Anti-Ransomware?

I dont know in which section i should post this, but i have noticed that a new product named ZoneAlarm Anti-Ransomware will be launched soon. My question is,will this product be included for free for us who have Extreme Security,or must one buy it separately? Can you tell us a little bit more about when its going to be launched?

I'm also interested by an anti-ransomware. Kaspersky is offering one for businesses but Im' unsure whether it is compatible with ZA. Given the current situation, moving forward from ZA towards an early launch would be desirable (as long as safety and compatibility can be insured).

        Re: ZoneAlarm Anti-Ransomware?

        Hi,

Thanks for taking time to reply. I have (of course) ZAES last version:

        ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version: 15.1.501.17249
        Vsmon version: 15.1.501.17249
        Driver version: 15.1.29.17237
        Antivirus engine version: 8.7.1.99
Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1255828832
        Anti-Spam version: 6.4.3.2155

        Am I protected ?

The reason to ask this is because I have mapped disks to several computers in my local network, and I do not wish to be a cause of lateral contamination... Note: all those computers run under Win7, NOT Win10...
