Updated to 14.3.119.000. Keep getting pop-up telling me to update to same level.

  • Updated to 14.3.119.000. Keep getting pop-up telling me to update to same level.

    Several days after updating to free ver 14.3.119.000 I still keep getting a pop-up telling me to update. When I download the updater it's the same version as I've just updated to. Using XP - 3.

    Zone Alarm still Supports Windows XP SP3, if you have installed the Latest Supported version of Zone Alarm.. Even after Microsoft Abandoned ALL Support for XP.

    Please do a Clean Uninstall of the Old version of ZA and Download and install this ZA for windows XP SP3 that you find here:
    http://www.zonealarm.com/xp/


    If you are on XP ignore any request to update ZA as the above is the last available for XP.

      Have tried to follow instructions. No matter how I get to the page where I should be able to d/l 15.0.159.17147 and click on "XP users click here" it takes me to a page that only allows me to d/l 14.3.119.000. If I ignore the instruction "XP users click here" and just choose to d/s 15.0.159.17147 when I try to install it I get a message saying I can't install it on XP.

          I've got the same issue as cwchris : I've updated to 14.3.119.000 but I keep getting an update message.

          Are you saying that the "solution" is to ignore the repeated update message ?

            Yes..

            Unfortunately ZA 14.3.119.000 is the Last Version of Zone Alarm available for Windows XP SP3.

            Just my Guess, is that unfortunately, the Update Pop-up is for Users with Windows 7,8 or 10, and that the XP users are getting the Pop-up by Mistake, so You should Ignore the Update Pop-up, because ZA version 15 is not Compatible with Windows XP SP3..

              I've come to that conclusion too. A few hundred bytes of code or a little more information on the update website could have eliminated all confusion about this. Thanks for the valiant attempt to pound that fact into my brain.
