  • Why does ZoneAlarm ICM Service keeps changing Catalog.dat?

    Referring to following image, I would like to know on why ZoneAlarm ICM Service keeps changing CheckPoint\ZOneAlarm\Catalog.dat.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    The antitampering feature in ZA does not allow ZA ICM to access the catalog.dat. Just ignore it, a bug or eccessive logging by ZA itself. To avoid receiving that pop-up you should simply set the logging/alerts back to default.

        If you have no changed the alert settings then your ZA databases (where settings are stored) may be corrupted and you would need to reset them.
