  • Windows Start Button and Taskbar Disabled when ZoneAlarm Upodated

    Windows 10, all updates applied.
    ZoneAlarm updated to latest version.
Consequently, Windows Start Button and Taskbar displayed but disabled. Also PC very slow in starting processes.
    Uninstalled ZoneAlarm, problem goes away.
    Any advice?

Re: Windows Start Button and Taskbar Disabled when ZoneAlarm Upodated

Sorry all users here and I am not experiencing your problem. Actually there was a widespread issue on the start button reported by users after having updated to the latest version of windows 10.

Are you sure that the issue you are experiencing is not also linked to windows 10 rather than ZA? I think Microsoft have issued other updates meanwhile to remedy the situation. Is your windows 10 fully updated with all latest patches?

Sorry I don't have other suggestions to propose aside from resetting ZA to the default and see if there was an issue with corruption of the ZA settings.

      Thanks,
